Event Glossary

Seating

Theatre – seating is set out in rows, usually with an aisle down the middle.
Cabaret – round tables with chairs set at each table.
Classroom – seating is set out in rows but behind long tables.

AV (Audio Visual)

The equipment required to make your event be seen and be heard.  This can be in the most basic form (screen, mics) to a higher spec allowing you to stand out from the crowd, involving the use of lighting and stage sets.

SI (Simultaneous Interpretation)
